MVHC: Basketball Players of the Game (Monday, December 15th)

ZANESVILLE, OH – The freezing temperatures are not doing any favors, but that is not stopping these players from lighting it up on the basketball court, as they are honored as the second batch of ‘MVHC: Players of the Game’ from the basketball season.
From the game on Z92 radio on Friday night, John Glenn senior Stehl Bates stepped up again, putting 22 points in a win over West Muskingum. He took over in the second half of the game, setting up teammates in addition to scoring in his own right.
Meanwhile out in Perry County, Morgan hit the road to defeat New Lexington for its first victory of the young season. Highway 103 had a tough, competitive game, and Raiders senior Clayton Blackburn gave his team a boost with 13 points and three assists in the victory.
Congratulations to both athletes.
