MVHC: Basketball Players of the Game (Monday, February 2)

MVHC Basketball

ZANESVILLE, OH – The start of a new month brings us our latest ‘MVHC’ Players of the Game’ from this past week’s sensational action of high school hoops.

We begin on Highway 103 from last Wednesday’s contest where Rosecrans hit the road to defeat Miller in a key Mid-State League contest. Kohen Harris starred for the Bishops, scoring a career high 23 points to go along with seven assists in the win.

Two nights later on Z92, John Glenn secured its 14th straight win this season, and Ben Stamm became the fifth and final Muskie starter to receive his ‘Player of the Game’ hoodie. The senior chipped in ten points in the 20-point road win over Sheridan.

Meanwhile on AM 1240, it was another tough battle for Zanesville against Licking Heights over the weekend. Even in a loss, Jayce Hicks continued to prove his worth off the bench with 24 points in the last two games for the Blue Devils, as he continues to become a key piece of the rotation.

Congratulations to all three athletes.
