MVHC Players of the Game – Week Two

ZANESVILLE, OH – Another week of high school football, and three more MVHC players of the game to announce from our radio broadcasts.
An MVL-crossover clash on Z92 saw New Lexington down Philo, in large part thanks to senior running back Paul Stenson, who crossed the plane four times in the 37 to 20 victory.
Highway 103 was over at West Muskingum where the Tornadoes battled the always tough Fort Frye Cadets. Despite a difficult loss, junior linebacker Cooper McKenzie recorded seven tackles on defense.
Zanesville continues to look for its first win of the season, though wide receiver Aeyden Wells is doing his part. The junior had six catches for 54 yards in the loss out at Clear Fork, which was broadcasted on AM 1240.
Congratulations to all three athletes.
