MVL awards two athletes with Terry Ohlinger Scholarship

The Muskingum Valley League has awarded Crooksville’s Josie Channel and John Glenn’s Tanner Slack the Terry Ohlinger Scholarship for the 2015-16 school year.

 Channel was a key player on Crooksville’s basketball team and also participated in cheerleading. She is a member of the National Honor Society and will graduate with a 3.77 GPA. Channel is set to attend Zane State College, majoring in physical therapy.

Slack was a starter John Glenn’s state championship basketball team and also participates in track. He is a member of the National Honor Society and will graduate with a 3.65 GPA. Slack will continue his basketball career at the University of Mount Union, majoring in exercise science.
