Myers joins the 1,000 point club for Morgan; Lady Bishops pull off the upset and more tournament action

The Morgan Raiders opened tournament play at home against Buckeye Trail. Thanks to 22 points from, Carver Myers, the Raiders won 69-50. Myers also became the fifth Raider to reach the 1,000 point club with a bucket in the third quarter.

The Lady Bishops of Rosecrans knocked off Shadyside, 43-38. A shot just before the buzzer in regulation sent the game to overtime. Kailey Zemba hit two 3s in double overtime.

Maysville took down Beaver Local, 76-36, advancing to district semi-final on Wednesday.

River View beat Indian Creek at the buzzer, winning 53-50.

Tri-Valley beat East Liverpool, 68-12. The Lady Scotties captured the sectional championship and will be taking on Dover in the district semi-final on Wednesday, at West Holmes.
