Nancy Rodgers

Nancy J. Rodgers, 75 of Zanesville, died, Saturday, May 20, 2023, her home following a brief illness. She was born Thursday, February 26, 1948, in Zanesville, the daughter of Bernard R. Gill, Sr. and Helen L (Harbaugh) Gill.

Nancy was a hard worker and employed with the Lear Corporation for over 26 years, where she walked from home each day. She was dedicated to her work and her family. She was a member of Eagles Aerie 302 Auxiliary.

Nancy is survived by three sons: John & Shelly Rodgers, Chris Rodgers and Tom & Jenny Rodgers all of Zanesville; four grandchildren: Theo Rodgers, Michael Rodgers, Charlie Rodgers and Tom Rodgers, Jr.; several step grandchildren; one great grandson, Marcelle Roundtree, and two great grandchildren on the way; six brothers and sisters: Sandy Warner of San Diego, CA, Rusty & Linda Gill, Candy & Bud Rambo and Marge & John Wilcox all of Dresden, David & Tammy Gill of Zanesville, Debbie (Mike) Wisecarver of Dresden, a daughter-in-law, Debbie Gill of Frazeysburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter-in-law, Margaret Rodgers; one brother Bernard Gill, Jr. and an infant sister.

Friends may call 10:00 AM till 12 Noon, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where services will follow at 12 Noon with Pastor Chuck Gamble officiating.
