Nancy L. Williams, 82, of Frazeysburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, January 24, 2024, at her home.

Born August 9, 1941 in Ravenna, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dollie (Snyder) James and a 1959 graduate of Dresden Jefferson High School. Nancy loved going to the matinee movies, traveling, bowling in her younger years and playing cards in her monthly card club. She was a farm wife, mother and lover of all animals.

Nancy was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family and friends; laughing and reminiscing about the fun full life she led. She was always there to lend an ear, hand, or wise advice to anyone that asked. She enjoyed watching and rooting for her sons and grandchildren play in whatever sports they were involved with at the time. She was an avid reader and loved going antique shopping with her husband, Gary. Nancy drove bus for fifteen years for the Tri-Valley School District and worked in the retail division at the Longaberger Company for over ten years. She was a member of the Tri-Valley School Board of Education for four years and the CCL.

Surviving is her sister, Linda (Larry) Miller; sister-in-law, Anita (Bob) Rector; brother-in-law, Tom (Diane) Williams; four sons, Mark (Ellen) Williams, Matt (Heidi) Williams, Mike Williams, and Mitch (Amy) Williams; eight grandchildren, Ben Williams, Kelsi Williams, Keaton Williams, Angela Lukander, Adam (Jasmine) Williams, Austin Williams, Dylan Williams, and Alex Williams; five great grandchildren, Gavin, Grayson and Ivy Williams, Trenton and Trevor Weber; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Williams, who died March 13, 2023; five brothers, Wayne, Bob, Pete, Bill and Larry James; a grandson, Robert Sprangler; and two sisters-in-law, Marilyn King and Debbie (Jim) Angelo.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society, 1430 Newark Road. Zanesville, Ohio 43701 or a charity of your choice.

Friends and family may call Monday, January 29, 2024, 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg and one hour prior to the service from 12:00pm- 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

Funeral service will be held 1:00pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating.
