Naomi A. Hoopes (March 1, 1920 – June 22, 2012)

Naomi A. Hoopes, 92, of South Zanesville, formerly of Senecaville, passed away Friday June 22, 2012 at Countryview Assisted Living, Lore City, Ohio.
She was born March 1, 1920 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Paul D. and Virginia E. Spicer Miller. Naomi was a homemaker all of her life and was a member of South Zanesville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving Naomi are her sons: Larry G. (Heidi) Hoopes of Franklin and Ronald L. (Alma) Hoopes of Crooksville, daughter: Vickie (Billy) Thomas of Old Washington, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband: Edgar A. Hoopes who died July 5, 2007, brothers: Dale, Robert and Don Miller, sisters: Margaret Houk, Ginny Bailey and Dorothy Banks.
Visitation for Naomi will be 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Sunday June 24, 2012 at Bryan & Snider Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. where funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday June 25, 2012 with Pastor Joy French officiating. Committal services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
