Nellie Louise Singer Flowers

Nellie Louise Singer Flowers, 104, of Stewart, OH passed away peacefully at home Sun. Mar. 8, 2026. She was born Feb. 17, 1922 to the late Francis and Lenora Pearl Singer, Sr. in Washington County, OH. She is survived by one son, Allen (Joyce) Flowers of Glouster; daughters, Deborah Flowers of Stewart, Sherry (Richard) Morgan of South Carolina, Velma Hill of McConnelsville, Stella Mayle of Columbus, Ella (Ray) Mayle of Canton, Doris (David) Brent, Janet (Levi) Brent, and Wanda (Jerry) Norris all of Zanesville; and daughter-in-law, Sue Flowers of Stewart. Nellie was a cherished mother, wife, grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend. Her presence will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Elza “Jack” Flowers; two sons, Leon and Lurman Flowers; three sisters, Freda and Garnet Tabler and Lillian Norris; four brothers, Keith, Francis Jr., Curt and John Edward Singer; two sons-in-law, Dennis Mayle and Bob Hill. Funeral Service will be Fri. Mar. 13, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill, with Pastor Junior Walker officiating; burial to follow at Norris Cemetery.
