New area business offering cheaper and faster Orthopedic Care

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A new business in Zanesville is offering an urgent care” style exclusively for orthopedic care.

From sports injuries to a misstep at home, Express Ortho Care services a wide variety of orthopedic care cheaper and faster than the traditional emergency room.

“Emergency rooms nationally you would be spending about 60, 65 percent more for the same exact fracture that we would treat here and x-ray here on site and everything here to take care of you right here. So you are saving that time, you are saving a considerable bit about money and you are actually getting in to see the orthopedic care specialist right away.” said Regional Clinic Administrator Holly Voltz.

And with football season right around the corner, Voltz explained Express Ortho Care is already in communication with area schools to provide immediate care and education for athletes and parents.

“Athletes are key to us in being able to help the local schools with their athletes. So we are in communications with all the athletic directors and just letting them know what we provide asking them how we can help. You know, do we need to send some of our providers out to educate coaches or provide extra education to the parents and also when these games are going on and injures we are open 7 days a week.”

During the week Express Ortho Care is open 10 to 8 Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 on Sunday.
