New Business joins South Zanesville Community

If you’re looking to complete a collection, or cash out on keepsakes, there’s a new destination in town.

Heritage Trading Post is now open in South Zanesville. The new business is a buying, selling, and trading destination. Owner Matthew Enright said that after two other successful stores and a special visit in Zanesville last year, he knew the Y-City was the right place to open another post.

“We actually did an event last year at the Muskingum County Welcome Center and had just a tremendous response from the local people so we were excited about that and since then we’ve had a lot of Zanesville residents come to our Lancaster location and asking if we were going to do anything in Zanesville,” said Enright. “We figured it was a great location. The people here are wonderful and so we decided to pull the trigger so here we are. ”

Enright said that they serve all kinds of customers, from jewelry fanatics to sports buffs, and everything in between. Enright said his favorite part of the business is sharing stories with customers.

“Where these items come from, the local history, the local heritage between each item that comes in and so that’s really what drew me into the antiques and the collectibles and the coins,” said Enright.

Heritage Trading Post is located across the street from Dutro’s on Maysville Pike and it’s open from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2p.m.
