New Event Planned for Cry Out America
Cry Out America will return to Zanesville Sunday.
With attacks across the country on police officers, event organizer Amy Moore feels it  does not represent the at large feelings towards law enforcement.
“I believe that the majority of people support our law enforcement, and that’s why we have to make a stand, and that’s why we have to show them that we care,” Moore said.
The normal event of prayer and reflection will be Sunday. It’s taking place, for the second year in a row at American Pride on McIntire Ave from 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“We’re very patriotic and we’re very community oriented,” Moore said. “So that’s what brings people together I think for the love of the community and the love of our faith.”
The event is free to attend and Moore said there will be some shade for people to sit under and lunch is available for those who want it.
