WHIZ Sports 3-31: New Lexington Falls to River View in Softball

NEW LEXINGTON, OH- It was not a normal weather for softball with chilly winds and clouds hanging over but it didn’t stop New Lexington and river View from swinging their bats.

Both offenses came out early after a strike out by New Lexington’s Bella Chevalier, River View got on base and capitalized with a RBI double to bring two runs in to give them the lead.

Panthers needing some energy and it’s a wild pitch by River View letting Kylie Fink get a steal at home to put them on the board.  

Both teams kept the score going but River View would edge out the Panthers beating them 11-10.
