New Lexington Man Dies in Perry County Accident

The Highway Patrol says a New Lexington man was killed in a two vehicle accident in Perry County. Troopers say it happened on State Route 37 just before 4:00 pm Monday.  Investigators say 69-year-old Karen Cheney was driving east on 37 when another vehicle traveling west went left of center and struck Cheney. Her vehicle overturned. A passenger in the vehicle, 71-year-old Kenneth Cheney, also of New Lexington died as a result of his injuries.  The driver of the other vehicle 23-year-old Reggie Wesselhoeft of Logan suffered minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
