New Lexington Sweeps Coshocton in Baseball, Softball

NEW LEXINGTON, OH – It was an MVL doubleheader on Monday, as New Lexington defeated Coshocton on both the baseball and softball diamonds.

In the 4-0 baseball victory, pitcher Garrett Blosser threw a complete game, allowing just one hit and striking out 18 batters over his seven innings of work.

The softball game between the two schools a was a little more high scoring, in the New Lexington 11-1 win. A six-run sixth inning for the Panthers helped propel them to the double-digit victory.

The two schools will play each other again in both sports on Tuesday at Coshocton.
