New pastor at local church

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A church in Zanesville now has a new pastor.

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zanesville introduced a new pastor to lead it in service. Pastor Andrew Wilson said he is excited to officially be installed as the new pastor of the church.

“It was celebrating the call, the defining call, that Trinity Lutheran extended to me to come serve as there next pastor. That service began today (January 28th) and now I’m looking forward to getting to work serving the church and the community as a pastor here in Zanesville,” said Wilson.

Pastor Wilson was a pastor in Wisconsin for over three years but, after being asked to be the pastor of this church here is Zanesville, he thought it was the right calling for him.

“Trinity Lutheran has been without a full-time pastor now for a period of time and they reached out to me and issued me a divine call to come and service here. So after much prayer, we decided to accept it and come and serve here in this place. And we’re excited to learn about the area and the community. We’re excited to serve in, however, God requires us to do here in this place,” said Wilson.

Pastor Wilson welcomes everybody to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. He said all are welcome and he looks forward to being part of the community.
