New Police Chief in Newark

The Newark Police Department has a new Chief.

Mayor Jeff Hall announced that Steven Baum has been selected to head the department.

Baum was hired by the Newark Division of Police on November 22nd, 1993. He served as both a patrol officer and as a detective.

Mayor Hall says Baum brings years of experience with our great city and displays great leadership skills and enthusiasm.
