New WHIZ Website Set To Launch Friday

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- WHIZ Media Group has been due for a new website for quite some time and now they finally have a finished product to replace the current website on Friday, August 26th.

Sara Shallcross, Communication Manager at WHIZ, said that the new website will essentially have what the current website has, but a few added bonuses.

“We have a new feature called ‘Neighborhood’ and we would like to bring that into the community center.” Shallcross said that’s where you would find any information on featured links, station promotions and obituaries.

There will also be a drop down menu located at the top right of the website homepage that shows the basic categories such as the latest news, weather, sports and radio updates.

“Our final section is called ‘More’, which has information on our Sales and News Team, and information on careers.”

When the website launches on Friday, there will also be a tutorial section on the new website that will help people navigate through it to find whatever information they are looking for.
