Newark Man Arrested in Shooting
The Newark Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a shooting on Union Street.
It happened on January 16th at 7:30 in the evening at 327 Union Street Building C. When officers arrived they found 22-year-old Shaqkeim Lloyd of Newark shot multiple times. He has since been treated and released from the hospital.
On Monday Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Lloyd for Aggravated Robbery for his participation in the shooting. He was arrested at his home without incident.
Newark Police say anyone with information on the incident should call detectives at 740-349-1501.
