Newark man med-flighted after crash
NEWARK, Ohio- AÂ Newark man was med-flighted early Saturday morning after an accident.
Nicholas Roberts of Newark was travelling northbound on State Route 79 when at approximately 1 a.m., for unknown reasons, he drove off the right side of the road, jumped a concrete curb and struck a metal pole. The accident took place in the area of Meritor and Mound Builders Park. The 20-year-old was taken by helicopter to OSUÂ Medical Center and his condition is currently unknown. Authorities say it is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
