Newark Police search for suspect in a May assault
LICKING COUNTY, Ohio – The Licking County Crime Stoppers is looking for any information leading to an arrest in an assault in Newark.
Newark Police say on May 4, 2017, a white male knocked on the door of a home in the 500 block of Ridge Ave.
An elderly female opened the door, and the man began striking her in the head multiple times, with what was described as a round, shiny pipe.
The suspect was dressed in all black, with a dark mask on his face.
