Nicholas J. Moore1

Nicholas J. Moore, 46, of New Lexington, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Born January 8, 1980, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Rawland and Beverly Norris Moore.
Nicholas, beloved father, friend, and the undeniable life of every party, passed away leaving behind a legacy of laughter, generosity, and love that will never be forgotten. Born with a heart big enough for everyone he met, Nicholas never knew a stranger, only friends he hadn’t met yet.
A proud Ohioan through and through, Nicholas cheered loudly and faithfully for his Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns, and his hometown New Lexington Panthers.
Nicholas found joy in the simple things, especially mushroom hunting, a pastime he loved sharing with family and friends. He worked hard his entire life, never shying away from a job that needed done, and he was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought.
Above all else, Nicholas loved his children fiercely. They were his greatest joy, his proudest accomplishment, and the center of his world. His kindness, humor, and warmth created a home where everyone felt welcome.
Nicholas leaves behind a community of people who were better for having known him. His laughter, his generosity, and his big-hearted spirit will echo in the memories of all who loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
