Nicholas Isaac “Nick” Shepherd, 30 of Zanesville passed away Sunday January 15, 2012. He was born February 7, 1981 in Zanesville the late Dean Shepherd and Nancy (Paul) Schwartzmiller Ragias of Zanesville. He worked as a Video Conferencing Engineer for Com Tech; enjoyed bicycling and helped with sounds in bands.
In addition to his mother and step-father he is survived by one sister Marie Ragias; grandparents Loren (Elinor) Schwartzmiller and Christina Ragias all of Zanesville; uncle Dale Schwartzmiller of Zanesville and Cousin Sam Schwartzmiller of Massillon; several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial Contributions in Nick’s memory may be made to: Muskingum County Animal Shelter, 1500 Newark Road Zanesville, Ohio 43701 or The Salvation Army, 515 Putnam Avenue Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
Calling hours will be held 6-8pm on Thursday January 19, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 W. MILITARY RD. ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday January 20, 2012 in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Doris Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
