Nicolozakes Scores Five, John Glenn Dominates in Opener

CAMBRIDGE, OH

The fall sports season has finally begun. And the boys soccer team from John Glenn was looking to make an early impact to start 2024, when the Muskies battled the Cambridge Bobcats. And now it didn’t take long for the Muskies to get on the scoresheet. Less than five minutes in, senior William Nicolozakes gets in behind and puts his side in front.

Not even three minutes later, he’s at it again! The ball in from Oakley Zamensky and Nicolozakes doubles his total and the team’s in the early going. This time we only had to wait a mere 25 seconds for his hat trick, as he’s going to tuck it away with the left foot. All part of a big win for John Glenn, 10-0, on the road over Cambridge.

Next up for the Muskies is a trip to West Muskingum on Tuesday.
