Nona P. Jordan, 95, of Boggs Road, Zanesville, passed away at 7:45 am Friday, November 04, 2011 at The Beckett House of New Concord.

Nona was born October 2, 1916 in Chandlersville, the daughter of the late Norah and Mary (Smythe) Taylor. Nona was a home maker, she was a loving mother to her children and grandchildren, she loved to bowl and was a wonderful cook; she was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness, North Congregation Zanesville.

Nona is survived by her 2 sons Marion (Ruth) Jordan of Zanesville, Tim (Peggy) Jordan of Zanesville; 2 daughters Betty (Lester) Anderson of Zanesville and Shirley (Frank) Latuska of IN; 4 grandchildren Jeff (Cheryl) Anderson, Michael Anderson, Gary Jordan and Kathy Jordan; a step granddaughter Kori Devoll; a great-grandson Taylor Anderson step great-granddaughter Kami Devoll.

In addition to her parent Nona is preceded in death by her husband Emmett M. Jordan who passed away September 30, 1988 and her three sisters Eleanor Johnson, Mary Davis and Ruth Hock.

A graveside service will be 1 pm Sunday November 6th, 2011 at St. Paul Cemetery, with Bob Whyde officiating.
