Norma Goodyear

Norma Jean Goodyear, 94, of Nashport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 24, 2026.
She was born in Cambridge, Ohio, on September 13, 1941, to Roy Patterson Wilson and Leona (Delforge) Wilson. Norma was employed by United Technologies for 43 years before retirement.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Debra L. (Goodyear) Moore of Spring Texas; son, Donald L. (Linda) Goodyear Jr. of Nashport; granddaughter, Ashley (Dustin) Wilson; 3 step grandchildren: Shaun Vandermark, Travis (Gabriela) Vandermark, and Kelli Wells of Ohio; great grandson, Patrick of Texas; 9 step grandchildren: Madison, Meghan, Aydden, Beau, Taylor, Layla, Liam, Karter, and Kooper of Ohio; nephews, Tom Wilson Jr. and family, Scott Wilson and daughter of Byesville, Ohio, Jay Wilson and family of Indiana; grand nephew and niece, Bob and Beth Willis of Cambridge; and sister-in-law, Eloise Wilson of Byesville.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald L. Goodyear, who passed away October 10, 2020; brother, S/Sgt. C Richard “Dick” Wilson, killed in action in WWII, November 9, 1942; sisters, E. Geraldine “Gerry” Willis of Cambridge and Virginia L. Wilson of Byesville; brother, Tom Willson Sr. of Byesville, brother-in-law, Charles R. Willis, nephew, Charles R. Willis Jr., son-in-law, Patrick Moore of Texas, step granddaughter, Jaime Vandermark, and step great grandson, Mason Vandermark.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice of Zanesville. A special thanks to Kaitlyn, Jody “Josie”, Theresa, Justin, Laura, and Trina. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
