November Jobless Rates

State officials say 63 of Ohio’s 88 counties saw rising unemployment last month. The Department of Job and Family Services says in our area the results were mixed in the month of November. Morgan County’s jobless rate increased from 14.6% to 15.5%. Noble County’s rate also increased. In Muskingum County the unemployment rate increased from 11.9% in October to 12.3 percent in November. Guernsey and Licking County also saw a jump in joblessness. In Perry and Coshocton Counties both realized a decrease in unemployment in the month of November.
