Ohio Means Jobs Hosts a Job Fair

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- If you’re looking for a job you’ll want to head to Colony Square Mall on Thursday.

That’s where Ohio Means Jobs will be hosting a job fair. Around 35 employers will be meeting with potential candidates for open roles at their companies. Ohio Means Jobs supervisor said this is an opportunity for people to walk away with jobs that day.

“We want to encourage job seekers to make sure that they’re prepared when they come in. Dress for success because you’re probably going to be interviewed on the spot,” said Julie Metzger the Supervisor at Ohio Means Jobs. “Make sure that you have your resume with you and that you’re just prepared to speak with employers the day of the job fair.”

As Metzger said candidates should make sure they’re appropriately dressed to meet with recruiters.

“Just make sure that you don’t come in jeans and a t-shirt. If you have just nice casual clothes that’s fine. Khakis and a nice shirt. Just something other than jeans so that you’re prepared to meet with an employer and put your best foot forward,” said Metzger.

The job fair will run from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday in the center of the mall.
