Ohio State Wins Fiesta Bowl

Dozens of Zanesville residents came out to watch as two team battled it out in the Fiesta Bowl.

The Barn was packed with college football fans as they hosted an Ohio State game day party. Friday the Buckeyes took on the Fighting Irish. We were able to speak to some of the folks that attended the party to see who they were rooting for.

“Definitely the Buckeyes have to win today. The fighting Irish is a great team but, the buckeyes should’ve been a National Title Championship. They were definitely the best team in the USA today,” said Jim Watson.

“Oh my god, seriously the Buckeyes. Oh my god they’ve never had a bad season, they are unbelievable,” said Linda Steinke.

“The Buckeyes. Hopefully, for a win, looking pretty good so far,” said Nathan Tate.

With a room full of red everyone said the place to be to watch the game is the Barn.

“The mood and the energy is everybody go bucks. We’re just out here having a good time. This is definitely the best place the community can come down and watch the game,” said Watson.

“We always come here, nice place to hang out nice cold beer, good food and a good place to enjoy yourself,” said Tate.

The Buckeys defeated the Fighting Irish winning the Fiesta Bowl with a final score of 44-28.
