ZANESVILLE, Ohio – All aboard for Ohio Stoneware’s largest Paint Your Own Party of the year with a festive Polar Express theme.

Located at 1719 Dearborn Street in Zanesville, the family owned pottery manufacturer and retailer invites you to paint your own piece of pottery. This Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. you can take part in the hot cocoa make and take while enjoying the holiday themed activities.

“Santa is going to be here form 10 (a.m.) to 1 (p.m.), we’ll have Selfie with the Elfie from VisitZanesville.com and of course the Paint Your Own attraction as well. So, folks can come in, we have about 50 different items to choose from for the Paint Your Own. They start at $10 an item and go up to as high as $75 and they get to decorate that piece however they choose,” said Tiffany Pattison, owner of Ohio Stoneware.

Ohio Stoneware celebrated twenty years of business this summer and also features a retail space of pottery already painted and ready to take home. If you miss your chance to hop aboard the Polar Express themed Paint Your Own Party, you might be able to jump on further down the line.

“So we started doing the Paint Your Owns every Saturday. That is going to continue throughout January through May so if this weekend doesn’t work, you can always come join us another Saturday,” Pattison said. “One thing we do mention is that we never know what kind of crowd to expect because we don’t require reservations. So, there is a chance that you may have to wait when you come. Typically our wait time is not longer than 30 minutes but we just ask that you bring your patience in case there is a wait when you come to join us.”
