Olga Pavlik

Olga Pavlik, 100, of New Concord, passed away August 2, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born March 16, 1924, in Trail Run, OH, daughter of the late George and Anna Rebar.  She graduated from Trail Run High School in 1942 with honors. Olga was a drill operator at the Cambridge Machine & Foundry during WWII and then worked for the Cambridge Glass Company until she married her husband John Pavlik Sr. on November 25, 1948.  After her marriage to John, she became a homemaker taking on many home improvement projects. In her younger days along with her husband, they were an unbelievable bowling team.  She continued bowling clear up until her late 80’s. She loved to pass the days by reading, cooking, sewing, and mowing the lawn under her beloved dog Barney’s supervision.  She will be long remembered by all for her generosity & wisdom.

She is survived by her sons, John (Kathy Johnson) Pavlik Jr., Charles (Patricia) Pavlik; grandchild Donnie (Jessica) Bates; great-grandchild Derrick Bates. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Pavlik Sr., many siblings.

Per her wishes no services will be observed. In lieu of flowers or cards, please make donations to Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care 713 Palliative Care, Zanesville, OH 43701.
