“Once Upon A Christmas Part Two” Holding Auditions
For the second year in a row the Seacrest Auditorium will host "Once Upon A Christmas"
This year’s play is being called "Once Upon A Christmas Part Two" which director and producer Shelly Burley said will be a great opportunity to showcase the acting and singing talent in Zanesville.
Open auditions are being held next Monday the 29 and Tuesday the 30 starting at 5:30 each night. Burley said the play will tell the story of everyone.
"This year it’s based on everyone has a story," Burley said. "So many times we meet people and we kind of prejudge, maybe judge a book by its cover, and not really know maybe what they’ve been through in their life that has put them at that point. So this year it’s going to be about everyone has a story."
Auditions are first come first serve. Burley just asks that if you want to audition you show up with a maximum of a three minute performance. That performance can be acting, singing or even interpretive sign.
"We have amazing talent in Zanesville and we’re ready to showcase it again this year," Burley said.
The play will have two showings on Saturday December 13. And all proceeds will go to benefit Christ’s Table.
