UPDATE: Both I-70 Westbound Lanes Reopened

UPDATE: (5:00 p.m.)According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, both lanes of I-70 WB are now open to traffic after Thursday mornings fatal accident.

The Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency announced that as of 9:00 am Thursday one lane of I-70 westbound has reopened after an early morning fatal accident.  It happened around 2:30 am at the Maple Avenue Exit.  Jadwin says one lane of I-70 between the Adamsville Exit and the Underwood Exit remains closed due to debris from another multiple vehicle accident.  He says there is no time estimate when both lanes will be back to normal.  Jadwin did add that both lanes of I-70 eastbound are now back open.  The accidents remains under investigation.
