One Injured in Accident

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said an early Thursday morning accident is under investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office said around 5:45 they received a 911 call in reference to a single vehicle accident on State Route 83 north just north of Coshocton County Road 24.

Authorities said that William Leasure, of Coshocton, was traveling south on State Route 83 north when he went off the east side of the roadway through a ditch and struck a rock before he was ejected from the vehicle.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said Leasure was treated at the scene and then flown to Ohio State University Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.

Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Three Rivers Fire District, Medflight and Prince’s Wrecker.
