One Injured in Morning Accident

One person suffers injuries following a two vehicle crash in Licking County.

The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol said the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday on Interstate 70 at the 135 mile marker.

The dispatcher said the incident involved a semi and an SUV. One female was transported to Licking Memorial Hospital.

The right lane of Interstate 70 was closed for a time until the SUV could be removed from the roadway.

Troopers are still on the scene investigating.
