One Local Family is Hosting a Fundraiser for a Heart Transplant

The community is rallying around a local man in need of a new heart.

Chris Joseph suffers from a heart condition and needs a heart transplant and now the community is stepping in to help raise funds for the staggering medical bills that come with such a complex surgery. Joseph said the community’s support is amazing and the love from his family is his motivation to keep going.

“You can’t even put into words that have to put up with me not feeling that great and moody sometimes but I try not to be, they’re wonderful.”  said Chris Joseph.

A benefit at the VFW included silent and live auctions as well as food and live music. Their goal is to raise 50 thousand dollars.
