One Man In Custody After Standoff

The Cambridge Post of the Highway Patrol says one person is in custody after a multi-county chase and standoff. Initial reports indicate the incident started in Akron and involved a stolen vehicle and included Tuscarawas and Guernsey Counties. The suspect ended up on US 22 and rolled his vehicle near Salt Fork State Park just after 5:30 a.m. A standoff with Troopers occurred after the suspect pulled out a handgun and made threats. The issue is now resolved and one man has been arrested. No other details have been released.
