One Time Screening at the Colony Square Mall
A new film digging into the Internal Revenue Service is coming to Zanesville Tuesday.
The movie, UnFair: Exposing the IRS will play twice at the Cinemark in the Colony Square Mall. The first showing will be at 7 p.m. With the second showing at 9:30. Kay Clymer of the Zanesville Patriots said the film will offer alternatives to the IRS.
"What this movie is going to do is it’s going to explain what happens with the IRS and it’s going to give suggestions as to what we can do," said Clymer.
Clymer believes taxes should not be forced upon the citizens but they should be a choice when purchasing goods. She said the movie will open people’s eyes.
"Taxation is thievery," said Clymer. "It takes my personal property, my personal labor at a cost the government says. "It is out of control and this movie is going to show that. It’s something that everybody will see."
Tickets to the movie cost $5 for the 7 p.m. show and between $9.50 and $11.50 for the 9:30 show. Clymer said a benefactor rented theater number six at Cinemark so the movie could be shown in Zanesville.
