One Woman Dead after Crash in Fairfield County

The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol said one Baltimore woman is dead following a one car crash Friday,  on Carroll-Northern Road in Liberty Township of Fairfield County. 

Elizabeth A. Featheringham was traveling traveling northbound in a 2008 Ford Focus when she traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. 

Basil Joint Fire and EMS and the Fairfield County Coroner Ed Breining responded to the scene. Featheringham was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Drugs are believed to be a factor in the crash. It remains under investigation. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is urging drivers to not drive while impaired and to use all safety equipment available.
