Operation Feed Is Gearing Up

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Several local organizations and businesses are coming together to support a good cause.

Operation Feed helps heal the hurt of hunger. This campaign served more than 900,000 meals throughout the Muskingum County Hunger Network.

“Once a year we do Operation Feed. It’s just a time that you can get involved, anyone can get involved. Individuals can get involved. Schools can get involved churches and youth groups. It’s just a time of year that to start thinking about feeding the hungry here in Muskingum County and doing something about it,” said Christ’s Table Executive Director Keely Warden.

Operation Feed has several opportunities to get involved.

“We do all kinds of different challenges. There will be all kinds of new events coming up and some of our old faithful. We’re gonna be doing Steak and Shake, Bob Evens, Applebees. We do pie in the face. We do Mother’s Day flower sells. There’s all kinds of things going on. There is one new event coming up that we’re really excited about. Century National Bank is also a partner with it comes to Operation Feed and this year. They’re doing something new called Hoops for Hunger,” said Warden.
