Osborn’s Bond Modified

A bond hearing took place in Muskingum County Common Pleas court for Anthony Osborn.

Judge Kelly Cottrill modified the bond allowing the 40-year-old Osborn to leave Muskingum County for employment.

Osborn faces several charges including four counts of illegal manufacture or processing of explosives and four counts of unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance.

Zanesville Police Captain Tony Coury says Osborn was pulled over on Luck Avenue in Zanesville in October, during the traffic stop an officer found four crude pipe bombs with fuses in the back seat of the vehicle.

Coury said that Osborn told police he wasn’t planning on doing any physical harm with the bombs and due to previous arrests he’s not permitted to own a firearm, so he constructed the explosives instead.

Osborn has plead not guilty in the case.
