OSHP OVI Checkpoint on West Main Street

Zanesville, OH – The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced the location of Friday’s OVI checkpoint in Muskingum County.

It will take place from 7pm to 10pm on West Main Street in Zanesville with assistance from the Zanesville Police Department and Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office.

The OVI checkpoint, funded by the federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers

The checkpoint will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat impaired driver-related injury and fatal crashes.

If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
