OSU’s Barrett Pleads Guilty to OVI

Ohio State quarterback JT Barrett appeared in Franklin County Municipal Court for his arraignment on a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence. He pleaded guilty and the judge ordered him to attend a three day intervention program, fined him 400 dollars and suspended his license for 180 days. The 20-year-old Barrett was cited for a misdemeanor at a Columbus police checkpoint two weeks ago. Police say a breath test showed him over the limit. Coach Urban Myer has said Barrett told him he did not believe he was impaired. Barrett was suspended for the second-ranked Buckeye’s victory over Minnesota on Saturday, but is expected to start this weekend.
