OVI Checkpoint in Guernsey County Friday Night

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio – The Cambridge Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced the location of an OVI checkpoint in Guernsey County.

The checkpoint will be held Friday from 8:00 P.M.– 10:00 P.M. on US 22 between Coshocton Avenue and Philips Road .

The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office and Cambridge Police Department will also be taking part in the checkpoint to aggressively combat impaired driver-related injury fatal crashes.

If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
