OVI Checkpoint on West Main Street

Zanesville,OH- The Ohio State Highway Patrol has announced the location of Friday’s OVI Sobriety Checkpoint.

The Zanesville Post said the checkpoint will take place from 7pm-10pm on West Main Street in Zanesville with assistance from the Zanesville Police Department and Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office.

The OVI Checkpoint is funded by federal grant funds and is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.

The checkpoint will be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols.

If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
