OVI Checkpoint Planned for This Week

The Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol announced Sunday that another OVI checkpoint will soon be in our area.

The checkpoint will be setup sometime this week with the goal of deterring and intercepting impaired drivers. The county where it will take place will be announced the day prior to the checkpoint. The exact location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint. If you plan to consume alcohol, you are always encouraged to designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink. Operational support for the checkpoint will be provided by local law enforcement agencies.
