Owners Search for Missing Dog
A member of the Harper’s Auto Body family is missing.
Anyone who visits Harper’s knows the pugs run the shop. They sit on chairs and greet those entering. But, one of those precious pugs is now missing.
Baxter and his brother were wondering around Putnam Landing. While his brother returned home, Baxter never did.
"The last time we had them spotted was Saturday at noon around the disabled veterans building down around the park because they like to chase ducks," explained Owner Larry Weaver.
Weaver said some kids were in the area giving treats to the pugs when they wondered away. They’ve posted missing pug signs everywhere. Baxter is husky and black with a white spot in the middle of his chest.
"He’s like a child. I wish we could bring him back home. We miss him. The dogs, they’re up all night long. They can’t sleep. We can’t sleep. Please bring him back home for us," pleaded Weaver.
They’re is a reward in place for anyone that can lead Weaver to Baxter. Weaver said the dog is friendly but it could take some coaching to get him to come close.
