Pamela Janet Goss (“Pam” or “Pammy”), age 55, passed away on November 22, 2025, in Granville, Ohio. Born on January 31, 1970, in West Islip, New York, Pam’s life was marked by strength, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved.
Early Life and Education
Pam graduated from Deer Park High School in Deer Park, New York, and went on to earn a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida. Her education reflected her deep sense of justice and her desire to make a meaningful impact in her community.
Distinguished Career
Pam built a distinguished career in law enforcement, serving with the Suffolk County NY Police Department, Atlantic Beach FL Police Department, Anne Arundel County MD Police Department, and as a Child Protective Services Investigator in Corpus Christi, Texas. In each role, she was known for her dedication, compassion, and commitment to protecting others.
Family and Loved Ones
Pam was the beloved wife of Navy Commander Brian Goss and the devoted mother of five children: Bryce (wife Kelsey), Peyton, Landon, Camryn, and Greyson. She was also a proud grandmother to Baker and Greta. Her family was the center of her world—her greatest joy and most cherished accomplishment. Pam is also survived by her father-in-law, William Goss; her siblings: Susan (Stephen), Kenny (Barbara), Beth (David), and Nancy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who were touched by her warmth and generosity. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Joan Morash, and her mother-in-law, Rita Goss.
Personality and Passions
Known for her vibrant personality and strong will, Pam was the rock of her family, including their furry friends. She stood firmly for what she believed in and never hesitated to support those she cared about. Her presence brought comfort and strength to everyone around her.
Pam found joy in creative pursuits, running a candle-making business that reflected both her artistic spirit and entrepreneurial drive. She was a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys, cheering them on with enthusiasm each season. Pam was also deeply involved with the Pelotonia organization, riding to raise funds for cancer research until this year, when her friends rode in her honor.
Community and Legacy
Pam was passionate about her community and the extended family and friends she gained along the way. Her legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely and the strength she instilled in those fortunate enough to know her. The love and support of the Granville community and her many precious friends will never be forgotten.

A celebration to honor Pam’s life’s journey will be held at a future date. In accordance with her wishes, her life will be celebrated with love, compassion, laughter, and togetherness.
