Pamela “Pam” F. McKenzie

Pamela “Pam” F. McKenzie, 68, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at Genesis Hospice on Saturday, October 25, 2025, following a lengthy and courageous recovery from open-heart surgery.
Pam was born on February 11, 1957, in Zanesville. She is the daughter of Betty (Carrel) Willey and the late Robert Willey. Pam was a 1975 graduate of Zanesville High School, where she proudly served as a Devilette throughout her school years. She devoted forty-five years to her career at Wendy’s Bakery, where her strong work ethic and dedication shone through every day. Pam had a deep love for horses and took great pride in caring for her own. She found joy in keeping a tidy home and took comfort in making sure her family was always well cared for. Above all, Pam cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, treasuring the time they shared together.
Pam is survived by her devoted husband of forty-four years, Phil McKenzie, whom she married on July 24, 1982; her two daughters, Heather (Ben) Ickes and Chrissy (Justin Wilson) McKenzie; her three grandchildren, Riley Wilson, Sophia Ickes, and Ethan Ickes; her siblings, Connie Stamper, Jimmy Willey, and Carol Willey; her sister-in-law, Jenny (Roger) Hendrix; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In addition to her father, Pam is preceded in death by her brother, Roger Willey.
Visitations for Pam will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A funeral service will be held the following day at 11 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Darren Tolbert will officiate the service. Pam will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
