ROSEVILLE
Pastor Pearl Louis Moore, 89, of Roseville went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 14, 2012 in Zanesville.
Pearl was born in Crooksville on July 14, 1921 to the late Harvey and Bessie Cavinee Moore. Pearl had been employed by Detroit Harvester, China Pottery, Hull Pottery, Wiseman Dairy, and Gibson’s Meat Packing. He proudly served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the US Army during WWII, where he received 5 Battle Stars for major campaigns in Europe. He enjoyed flowers, gardening , and farming, His greatest love was his walk with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he devoted his life to the Lord as a Pastor of The House of Prayer in Roseville for over 20 years, and even from his Hospital bed he was still testifying to people.
He is survived by his wife Donna Clark Moore of the home, two daughters Dorothy Carroll (Jim) Sowers, Regina Ann (George) Stover. Four Sons: John Thomas (Susan) Davis, Cecil Joseph (Margie) Davis, Daniel Ray (Cheri) Davis, and Samuel Jay Davis. Two: Brothers John (Faye) Moore and Harold Moore. Three sisters: Lela Bobo, Velma Swain, and Lucille (Jim) Brandau. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was also grateful to have Dr. Anthoney Flarey as his Physician.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Rolland and Elmer Moore, and a sister Rozella Hartley.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8pm on Monday January 16 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME , 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Wes Kidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Oakfield Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
